Another piece of vintage Americana in what's left of the old downtown in tiny McConnell,IL. This was the old repair shop,and is one building away from the old feed store that I uploaded last week.McConnell is typical of many small rural Midwestern towns-a storied history which capped in the 1950's and has been slowly decaying since then.It has many ghosts of its past still on display,waiting for that history to be rewritten again....
