The backside of the first round of Wednesday's severe weather that went through our area of the Midwest.Several damaging tornadoes were reported south of our area.A lot of trees were victim in the Sterling-Rock Falls area and power was out for a long period-24 hours for us.Fortunately,I had installed a generator system for our farm,so we didn't suffer much.Rain is in the forecast for 4 of the next 6 days,and it isn't going to get out of the mid-50's today.Corn planting for us is done,the beans will have to wait....
