This old gold mine was worked up to about 20 years ago-the miner was well known in the Searchlight,NV. area.He scavenged equipment from shuttered mines in the area to build this one.He was convinced that their was a fortune on this hillside,and did mange to find a little producing ore.But the main thing he mined from the area is not all dreams become reality,and finally abandoned it after falling into the shaft and breaking a leg.He wasn't found for two days,but survived....
