One of the iconic houses still left in the ghost town of Bodie,CA. now a state historic site.Bodie had a population of 10,000 in the late 1890's at the height of the gold rush.It was notorious for its lawlessness,with the "bad man from Bodie" being a popular catchphrase from that time.As the minds played out,people quickly left this isolated place-a fire in the 1930's wiped out 90% of what was left of the town....
