hard lessons...

This great old brick school is nestled in a cornfield just north of Annawan,IL. Stoutly built and with a good roof,this beauty should last as long as some of its modern predecessors....

 

I apologize for the perspective here-the 10' high corn came up to within 15' of the school on all sides.I hope to get a better shot later in the fall once the crop has been harvested.
