no way to treat the help....[on telegraph road]

The help needed to fully awake when coming down the servants stairs at the old house on Telegraph Road.In later years,the cattle had to be careful,as the open doorway was fenced because the yard around the old house was used as pasture. The kitchen was the biggest room in the house.

 

The farm dates to the 1800's....
