Day 89: It was my Fault
5th January 2012
Thursday
A picture of my cupboard. Self CBT.
Today was not a good day. First I woke up late. Then I caused two of my friends (who were waiting for me) to be late for our clinical session in Winchester. Though we were only 5 minutes late, but still, I didn't feel good at all.
The history taking itself was good. Was talking to an acute depression patient. Got slightly emotional when we were listening to his story. But our history taking was too long, and we ended up missing our opportunity to present. We weren't blame for taking long in history taking but I feel it was because we were late that we lost that opportunity as well.
I apologized profusely and was not sure on how the day was going to end.
Afternoon was SSM (basically extra class for Psychiatry). That was indeed fun, and my mood lifted. In that class, we discussed on the "Behavioral Model". The behavioral model assumes that behavior is caused by experience and has a purpose. The discussion lead to looking into ourselves and at our behavior and upbringing. A very interesting session.
The day ended with me being impulsively motivated. I decide to implement self-CBT (cognitive behavioral therapy). Hence, the picture of the post.
I really really want to improve.
