JanD2012 says: This shot surely shows the sort of shivers we have all experienced. The pained expression of the woman; the dejected expression of the man. What has happened? We don't know but we are all familiar with that awkward situation when everything's been said and it's time for reflection

JanD2012 says: For me, the regimentation of the children and their oh-so correct behaviour does send shivers down my spine, and judging from other comments in the group, it does for a lot of others too. A very original take on what turned out to be a very difficult instruction

JanD2012 says: Not living in the country, most animals make me feel uneasy and although this is certainly fun, those teeth do give me the shivers. Great timing and blending colours too

JanD2012 says: This shot opens up all sorts of scary possibilities. Has the tree-surgeon fallen; is he pulling up a dangerous bit of kit? Who knows, but the apparent dangers either way are enough to fulfil this brief to the tee. The composition, isolating the saw whilst avoiding making the rest of the shot empty and/or boring was well achieved too

JanD2012 says: Although it has its faults, this shot encapsulates everything that the brief asked for. Surely this sends shivers down most people's spines - the hand at the window, that strange grimace - we are left wondering whether the guy is having the time of his life or urgently needs help. Brief achieved
