doing her morning stretches

It was a special moment for me seeing the many snowy owls that had gathered along the dyke at Boundary Bay two years ago. By the amount of cameras clicking they had to be the most photographed snowy owls in the world! Her pinkish coloured feathers on her feet are probably a good indication that she had recently eaten breakfast.
