Canon 50 1.5 LTM First Trial
This is the first roll of the Canon 50 1.5 Ltm after a long long time since this gem arrived from ebay seller. The seller is very honesty, as he mention every detial of the lens: heavily hazed, scratch, stiff focusing etc. And the price reflected the condition also: $100, which is 1/3 of the overpried Jupiter-3, another Zeiss Sonnar clone. After a long time of try and error, I managed to finish the cleaning process. Vineger and toothpaste are good for clean the haze. Light fluid and watch lubricate can make focusing as smooth as butter. Finialy, I modified my Zorki-3C for the lens! By re adjust the rangefinder. Here are the results, beat every aspect of Jupiter-3: from built quality of the lens and the image quality. It is really a gem!
