Location: Pahang.
Note: The difference between B. cristatella vs. B. rayaensis is the black circle around its eyes in B. cristatella but it is absent in B. rayaensis.
The terminology Bronchocela means goitre, refering to the throat pouch that gets inflated in male.
The Latin word cristatus, refers to the crest or nuchal crest.
Physical characteristics of this species:
1. Triangular nuchal crest scales
2. Black lateral margin of around eyes (orbit)
3. Orange iris
4. Black tympanum (round feature on its cheek)
