Mischievous and playful Plantain squirrel (Callosciurus notatus) fooling around while we were birding
Location: Peninsular Malaysia, quite wide spread across our country.
Also known as Oriental squirrel or tricoloured squirrel. The genus name Callosciurus means beautiful squirrels.
Length: Body is about 20–30 cm (8–12 in) long with a similar-sized tail.
Description: Greyish/brown with a chestnut belly and a black and white stripe on the side.
