Some good news three of the five young Kestrels that survived should fledge today, it’s been a 42mile journey and I needed to set up for 5am, I have observed the site since she laid her first egg of a clutch six of eggs. Thing’s didn’t look to promising at first as the parents seem to be struggling catching prey. I only managed a couple of sessions due to the weather and the first session was ruined, someone had nicked my hide! For me it’s not all about just getting the images it’s the challenge and the memories.
