2011 Bastrop Complex Fire Clean-Up
On Oct. 3, 2011 this Caterpillar crawler tractor (bulldozer) and excavator assisted in clean-up following the Bastrop Complex Fire. What might at first appear to be smoke is actually ash which has been stirred up by the heavy equipment at the site. This photo was taken along Hwy 71 East, south of Bastrop State Park.
