3663 - 3674 AEC Swift, MP2R. MCW B37D+30 body. bult 1967.
One of a number of single deckers test the AEC was choosen mainly becuse AEC could meet the delivery date and the Bristol RELL6G did not have track recorded with Municipal fleets. Desiged as a Standee bus it was not liked by the general public. like other fleet its AH505 did have a few problems in this aplication especialy rear end crank failures, these heavyweight chassis only gave 10 years service.
3671 waits at the Albert Road end of the 36 route before picking up its first ever passenger having run empty from Acocks Green Garage.
