Coffee with halva
Halva is an oriental sweet made from caramel mass whipped with a foaming agent and crushed roasted kernels of nuts, peanuts, oil seeds (sunflower, sesame), with a mass fraction of fat of at least 25%. Halva is also called other types of sugary confectionery.
On the left in the photo, the halva is decorated with edible rice paper butterflies. They are tasteless but look beautiful.
I don't really like halva, it's very sweet :) And I liked it with coffee. I know at least three recipes for coffee with halva. Here is one of them.
ingredients:
ground coffee - 1 teaspoon (I like strong coffee, so there were 3 coffee spoons)
water - 120 ml
halva - 20 - 50 g (I took about 20 g)
milk - 120 ml
Cooking:
Brew coffee (or prepare in a coffee machine).
Mix hot milk with halva and punch with a blender.
Pour into a cup of coffee, add a mixture of halva with milk. And enjoy! You can add whipped cream if you like.
