I'm tired of city noise and I'm very jealous of this lonely duck:)
This photo was taken during my trip to Lake Seliger. The city of Ostashkov, Tver region, Russia.
Seliger is the main lake of the Tver region. In fact, Seliger is not quite a lake. This is a whole network of lakes and stretches, connected into one by straits and inland rivers. Seliger's area is 260 square kilometers, 38 kilometers of which are islands. The average depth of the lake is about 6 meters, although there are also depressions - up to 24 meters.
People go to Seliger to swim, sunbathe and relax. In addition, it is a popular and excellent hunting place: moose, wild boars, bears, wolves, foxes, hares and other animals can be found here.
However, the most popular entertainment in Seliger is fishing. The lake is inhabited by pikes, bream, pike perch - more than 30 species of fish in total.
