The sky over the Kremlin.

Ragged sky with rays over the Kremlin in Izmailovo.

Izmailovsky Kremlin is not a fortress or an architectural monument, as the name might suggest, but a historical, architectural and cultural and entertainment complex built today. The Izmaylovo Kremlin has combined many features of ancient Russian kremlins from different times, their most interesting and colorful details, and at the same time, the modern recreation industry is represented here.

The cultural and entertainment complex hosts city holidays, fairs and festivals, folklore ensembles perform, and lovers get married in the Palace of Happiness.

All conditions for creativity and recreation for both children and adults have been created here: educational excursions and master classes on Russian crafts, celebrations and anniversaries, weddings and children's parties, exciting games and horseback riding are held. There is an Orthodox church of St. Nicholas, museums and a business center.

Back in the early 90s of the XX century, there was a vacant lot on the site of the entertainment center. In 1998, the construction of the complex began, which lasted almost 10 years until 2007.

The creation of the architectural structure was carried out on the basis of the Vernissage, and the architectural structures of the royal residence in Izmailovo under Tsar Alexei Mikhailovich, the father of Peter the Great, were chosen as the main buildings.

The Izmailovo Kremlin does not claim historical value and is not an architectural monument, at the same time, the atmosphere of Tsarist Russia has been created here.
