Sinichka River

In Russia, more than 2.5 million small rivers are registered. The names of some of them are familiar only to hydrologists and residents of nearby settlements. The Sinichka River of the Krasnogorsk District of the Moscow Region is also classified as little known.

The length of the Sinichka River is 15 km, the maximum depth is about 1.5 meters. Mixed food - snow and rain. The flow velocity is about 0.5 m / s. The coastline is surrounded by forest. Dam No. 4, on which the beach area was subsequently equipped, was erected in the 60s by employees of the Krasnogorsk Optical and Mechanical Plant. The waterworks was organized by Komsomol members at their own expense. Entrance to the beach in the area of dam No. 4 on the Sinichka River is free and open to all comers.

The heyday of the beach season on the river fell at the peak of 2011-2014. The surrounding area was landscaped with everything necessary for a comfortable summer vacation.

Currently, the territory of the city beach on the Sinichka River is abandoned.
