Church of Holy Fathers
Church of the Holy Fathers of the Seven Ecumenical Councils (XVII-XIX centuries.). At the base of the main cathedral of the Seven Ecumenical Councils is located Daniel Church (1650-70-ies.). Top "Summer" temple erected on it in 1729-30 in Moscow baroque forms; in 1752 was set tiered church Daniel Stolpnik. Thus there is a unique composition for Moscow architecture - 2 upper temple on the same ground.

In 1930, the territory was organized, insulator, the NKVD for children of the repressed persons...The monastery is well known place at the wall, where they were found the remains of several children. The children's home children sick, died, and were buried there. At this place was built a chapel.
Contemporary Danilov Monastery has the status stavropegic, that is, its sacred-archimandrite is the ruling bishop of Moscow - Patriarch of Moscow and All Russia.
The services are held daily. The monastery Sunday school, catechetical courses for adults Publishing "Danilov evangelist", excursion service and church workshops.
