Email For Marketing Your Business Is Still Crucial

When we design a new website, we always try to get the business to let us put a box on the home page to collect emails. Some allow us to do that, many don't. I think this is a really bad decision if you want to harness the power of this enormous beast, email marketing.

 

Having a list, even a small list can be such a great way to stay in touch with customers and clients. A list of 100 emails is worth more than a 1000 likes in Facebook in my opinion. Another form of the email list is also evolving and the that is the text message list....which we strongly believe in as well at LTTF.

 

The reason email marketing skills are important is that you have an opportunity to really be persuasive and create a level of trust and authority with the people you count on for making your business a success.

 

And with today's autoresponders, you load up a long list of messages to go out on a scheduled basis....all designed to funnel your clients through the sales process that will most likely help them the most. It really can be as simple as that, yet us marketers are always looking for the next fancy technique that will help us in our businesses.

 

So, maybe we all need to go back and learn to write a well crafted email....and get back to basics - Email Marketing!
