Salt Lake City - Union Pacific Depot, 14-09-2016

The former Union Pacific Depot in Salt lake City (Utah, USA) was built in 1909. The station was known as the Union Passenger Station and provided joint depot services for the San Pedro, Los Angeles and Salt Lake City Railroad and the Oregon Short Line Railroad. The depot served as Salt Lake City's railroad transportation center into the 1970s. The building has been beautifully restored and serves now as a music and party venue called 'The Depot'. The grand hall is freely accessible for the public. The wall painting remembers the railroad from Salt lake City to Ogden built in 1869 by the mormons for the former Utah Central Railroad.
