Roseate Skimmer; female

Back in Florida and back to the dragonflies. I tried a new area today, a small nature trail with lots of water. I've never seen so many Roseate skimmers. Hundreds of females were hanging back from the lake in the bushes, taking a time-out. Very cooperative for the camera. Orthemis ferruginea
