York Minster

Inside the Minster, looking from the Nave, past the Central Tower, through the Quire and ending up at the East End, the building is vast, the Central Tower is tall enough to hold the Leaning Tower of Pisa with room to spare, the stained glass in the East End window is the largest area of stained glass in the country.

 

There is so much history contained within this building, it is just a joy to explore.
