Luray reflections in Dream Lake

which is only a few inches deep but serves as a near perfect mirror of stalactites extending down from the top of Luray Caverns in the Shenandoah Valley of Virginia.

You can generally tell a true reflection from a mere inversion of a picture by the reflected image being slightly darker than the real object, as you can see here.
