Clash of Drums
Clash of Drums - Milton Keynes International Festival.
Fantastic night. Bit of an awkward crop as it meant walking backwards into the crowd of photographers and viewers as the parade marched forward. The guy in silouette is actually a drummer walking backward - only after posting it did I realise it looks as if it's just someone who got in the way - oh well!!
I think the faces just appearing through the smoke are a worthwhile payoff.

A street parade, followed by stage show, with fireworks and LOTS of noise. It was awesome :-)
Les Commandos Percu were joined by a team of eight UK and Milton Keynes-based pyrotechnic artists who trained with the company and performed in Clash of Drums / Danbor Talka as part of an international professional development programme delivered by The Stables, IF: Milton Keynes International Festival and Festive Road.
Produced by The Stables and IF: Milton Keynes International Festival. Commissioned by The Parks Trust Ltd with support from Arts Council England, Rugby World Cup 2015 and Milton Keynes Council.
