Macro of a very small area of a crystal tea light candle holder bought in Upsala Sweden more than 15 years ago. Each of the larger 'bubbles' in the pattern is approximately 3/4" (19mm). The light from the flame is illuminating the crystal 'mounds' from the inside. The red bokeh in the background is a hand made red glass candle holder bought in Germany more than 10 years ago.
From Queen Elizabeth's 2016 Christmas message:
They ["ordinary people doing extraordinary things"] are an inspiration to those who know them, and their lives frequently embody a truth expressed by Mother Teresa, from this year Saint Teresa of Calcutta. She once said, 'Not all of us can do great things. But we can do small things with great love.'"
