FACE OF WAR

A portrait of Putin by the artists Daria Marchenko and Daniel Green, composed of paint and ordinance shell casings collected from the war zone of Eastern Ukraine. The image is lit by a series of different colored bulbs which impart different shadings. Part of a traveling exhibition entitled FIVE ELEMENTS OF WAR.
