Cow Parsnip (Heracleum lanatum)

Cow parsnip seeds are one of the most effective remedies to relieve the pain of a toothache. It exceeds all herbs in its topical analgesic, nerve sedating properties. Its been highly effective to decrease nerve pain related to teething and gum abscesses. Use topical and apply to the affected tissues for pain relief. Apply up to every 4 hours or as needed for gum pain.
Warning - Use only as temporary relief until you get into the dentist if you have an abscess!
Cow parsnip seeds have carminative and bitter actions relieving gas, bloating, and digestive pain. Take 5-10 drops as a "digestive bitter," up to 30 minutes before meals, to stimulate digestive secretions.
The seeds have anti-nauseant actions, though the flavor is somewhat nauseating with a lingering, aromatic, pungent, and very bitter flavor. It works most effectively for individuals with "cold" digestive tracts with a sympathetic dominant, constitutional type.
