Anatomical Model
ca. 1930-1950
Manufacturer: Clay Adams
Artifact no.: 2002.0539
Used in teaching facilities and practitioner's offices, anatomical models are popular teaching and demonstration tools. Originally owned and used by Dr. Yankoff in his east-end Toronto practice, this model was used when treating non-English speaking patients.
The Clay Adams model is fairly elaborate, and was originally accompanied by an atlas or key-guide which identified the hundreds of labelled structures.
