Save the Haiku Stairs, sign the petition.
Here is a photo from the Haiku Stairs on Oahu from a few years ago. This is a beautiful place to hike, but it is illegal to hike on the stairs since they were rebuilt in 2002. Earlier this year, the stairs suffered damage from a landslide and now the Honolulu Board of Water Supply, which owns the land the stairs reside on, are trying to take advantage of this catastrophe in order to get rid of the stairs.
