For the past two years I have waited to take my DLSR into Partnachklamm, the river gorge sort of pictured here. Finally, we were down in the area when it was open (it closes for weather a lot) and I took out my almost full card and put in a new one. I shot 2 cards walking through the gorge.
I can't find the cards.
In 5 years of having the same habits/rituals for handling cards, I have never lost/washed/erased accidentally a card. I have achieved this level of competency no where else in my life! But I lost these cards.
It is a first world problem, insignificant in the greater scheme of things.
But photographically speaking? I'm really bummed...
