There seems to be a sharing of resources between this service and the infrequent run to Chichester ex Merehead (6O52 / 6V07 return). The Crawley ran on Tuesday this week in a STP schedule (normally Tuesday excepted), and the Chichester ran yesterday (Wednesday 6 March) with the resultant cancellation of the Crawley 6O68 service.
Loaded services to both Chichester and Crawley have only run on the same day once this year, being Monday 15 January 2024 when Genesee and Wyoming liveried locos worked both services.
