Books are therapy, antidepressants, anti-anxiety, aphrodisiacs, happy place, travel & etc. When I read my brain shuts off the outside world & have to admit it’s the best feeling ever ! It was something I discovered as a kid when my mom got sick (because you sensitive / hot tempered nature needs a break) & honestly since senior year in HS never went back to it. During the pandemic it returned & I love it !
