I find so much happiness in summer’s simplicity. In the summer light & ocean & blues ... I could spend hours in that spot, in that place. Every time my mind goes back to Montauk mornings, days, evenings, sunrises & sunset I feel one drop happier. Yes, occasionally I get infected with poetic melancholy but life is short & time is limited so I tend not to spend too much time there. . . . Happiness is our our creation, we create our ecstasy & get high on life ! The habit of sitting on the floor of the stores, museums & bridges is still with me from childhood. Can’t help it ! To sit on the floor (or bridge) with my head leaning against something to this day is my favorite pose (that my mom always disliked).
