Seeking blessings

Hello friends as per your request i would like to tell you that i have been posting a series of photographs in my photo stream since last few days and i have given fair enough descprition about this festival. If you will check out them you will get a fair idea of what i am trying to convey through them.

I have explained and given visuals of all those proceeding that takes place in this beautiful festival. I will be posting more pics and will try to give more explanation. If you still have any questions do let me know i will happy to give you all the answers :D

 

In the above picture you can see a boy touching feets of Lord Ganesha and seeking blessings from him. In India according to Hindu religion people pray to the God i.e Idols of Hindu Gods(mythological) for prosperity and happiness.

 

Further you can see a man lighting an Incense stick known as DHOOP BATI for offering prayers to the God.
