Canal Bulker
On the 10th November 2018 the Capesize bulker 'Pan Emerald' (2012, 174,964DWT) approaxhes the locks at Ijmuiden travelling in ballast along the North Sea Canal from Amsterdam. The vessel was enroute to Sept-Iles, Canada.
One of the objectives of the trip was to get pictures of bulkers on the North Sea Canal with the steel works as a back drop. This was achieved but the weather was more typical for northern Europe in November. Will need to go again....
