Messed that Up
On the 22nd July 2018 the"Amadea" (1991, 28,856GRT) leaves Torbay for Dover. The Harbour Master website suggested an 1800 departure so I was bit surprised to see her leaving the bay when I turned up for a photo of her at anchor at 1645.
The "Amadea" is owned by Amadea Shipping Company and operated under charter by Phoenix Reisen of Germany. She was built in 1991 by the Mitsubishi Heavy Industries shipyard in Nagasaki, Japan as"Asuka" for Nippon Yusen Kaisha. In 2006 she was replaced by the "Asuka II" and entered service with Phoenix Reisen.
