Tug and Tow
On the 14th August 2017 the "Ocean Majesty" (1966, 10,417GRT) leaves the Pool of London for Hamburg. The tug "ZP Bear" (2015) has guides the vessel towards Tower Bridge and will stay with the liner to Greenwich.
The "Ocean Majesty" was launched as the "Juan March" for the Madrid based ferry operator Trasmediterránea. She was the first of two near identical Albatros-class sisters used to ferry passengers from Spain to the Balearic Islands. In 1988 she was converted to a cruise ship and is currently employed in the German market.
Unfortunately the sun that had been around all day had disappeared by the evening but the vessels made an inpressive sight in the centre of the Capital.
