Off to Sussex
On the 27th April 2017 the Tjonger" (2012, 3,741DWT) departs Teignmouth for Shoreham in ballast.
I would imagine the vessel will be collecting woodchips or refuse derived fuel for export to mainland Europe. i have been told that these regular backloads might well be impacted by Brexit as waste credits are traded amongst EU countries. We will no doubt find ways to dispose of our waste in the UK but the ships and lorries will return empty and imports will further increase in cost.....
