String Lake Clouds
The temperature dropped below freezing during the night and just before dawn the clouds were hanging so low that they appeared to be just above the level of the tree tops. As it got light the clouds started to gradually break up and by 7:00 AM you could begin to see mountain peaks swimming in and out of breaks in the clouds. Over the next half hour the clouds continued to thin and began to look like this, by 8:00 they were mostly gone, and the breeze started to ripple the water and kill the reflections.
There wasn't a single other person there the entire time. What a great morning.
