Chester Osborn is fourth generation vigneron and current chief winemaker and viticulturist of d’Arenberg in McLaren Vale, South Australia. Named as one of Robert Parker’s ‘Top 40 World Wine Personalities’ in 2005, Chester’s striking sense of individuality is evident in each glass and in the marketing of every bottle of d’Arenberg wine. Since taking the winemaking reins from his father in 1983, Chester has overseen the expansion of the d’Arenberg portfolio to over 50 wines and a growth in exports to over 70 countries.
