My name is Bruce Wayne.

My parents where killed when I was young, just like many today, the people who loved me were gone and I was still here. I was an orphan and the only person left was my 'Butler' Alfred Pennyworth, he treated me like I was his own, fathering me until I was old enough to care for myself. I may sound ungrateful to Alfred but I still seeked revenge. I hated the man that took my parents I planned on killing him. But on the day that he was released that chance was taken from me...I left Gotham for a long time. I left behind my name and became a phantom, not 'Bruce Wayne Billionaire' I met a man, he felt the same way about crime that I did, he taught me how to fight it. He inspired me to rid Gotham of the corrupt and people who prey on the weak. I came back to Gotham as 'Bruce Wayne' but he died along time ago, there is only Batman.
