IL MERCATINO FRANCESE IN PIAZZA
Il Mercatino Regionale Francese, con i suoi profumi, sapori e colori d’oltralpe è tornato nuovamente a Udine in piazza Matteotti ed in via Mercatovecchio. Tante le prelibatezze enogastronomiche presenti, tutte rigorosamente di qualità e tradizione francese.
Oltre ottanta i tipi di formaggi, i quali possono essere abbinati ad un’ampia gamma di vini provenienti dalle più importanti regioni vinicole d’Oltralpe. Per i più golosi le degustazioni dolci potranno contare sui biscotti bretoni, con oltre venti varietà di ripieno, su un gran numero di cioccolatini dai gusti raffinati, fino ad arrivare ai dolci preferiti da Re ed Imperatori: i macarons. Una grande tavolozza di colori è rappresentata dallo stand delle spezie e, a completamento dell’offerta enogastronomica.
Credo che queste lodevoli iniziative non siano un'esclusività della nostra città ma certamente portano vivacità, colori e curiosità a chi visita il centro storico.

THE FRENCH MARKET IN THE SQUARE
The French Regional Market, with its scents, flavors and colors from beyond the Alps, has returned to Udine in Piazza Matteotti and Via Mercatovecchio. There are many food and wine delicacies present, all strictly of French quality and tradition.
Over eighty types of cheese, which can be paired with a wide range of wines from the most important wine regions beyond the Alps. For those with a sweet tooth, sweet tastings can count on Breton biscuits, with over twenty varieties of filling, on a large number of chocolates with refined flavors, up to the favorite sweets of Kings and Emperors: macarons. A large palette of colors is represented by the spice stand and, to complete the food and wine offering.
I believe that these praiseworthy initiatives are not exclusive to our city but certainly bring liveliness, colors and curiosity to those who visit the historic center.
