ANTHURIUM ANDRAEANUM
L'anthurium è la rockstar delle piante da appartamento. Famosissima in qualsiasi casa italiana, detiene lo scettro di reginetta delle piante grazie alle sue fantastiche caratteristiche.
Innanzitutto, l'anthurium proviene dalle regioni tropicali e subtropicali dell'America del Sud, si trova in paesi come Messico, Argentina del Nord e Uruguay ed è arrivato in Europa come pianta ornamentale circa cento anni fa.
Gli anthurium sono stati scoperti nelle foreste tropicali, precisamente nel 1876 dal botanico Eduard Andre. Questo tipo di pianta è simile alle orchidee, perché le sue radici non sono come quelle che conosciamo noi. Ossia, le radici dell'anthurium non servono per ancorare la pianta al terreno, bensì per permetterle di posizionarsi sugli alberi dove vive all'incirca all'ombra e mai al sole diretto.

First of all, the anthurium comes from the tropical and subtropical regions of South America, it is found in countries such as Mexico, Northern Argentina and Uruguay and arrived in Europe as an ornamental plant about a hundred years ago.
Anthuriums were discovered in tropical forests, precisely in 1876 by the botanist Eduard Andre. This type of plant is similar to orchids, because its roots are not like those we know. That is, the roots of the anthurium do not serve to anchor the plant to the ground, but rather to allow it to position itself on trees where it lives more or less in the shade and never in direct sunlight.
