UDINE. PARCO MORETTI
E' PRIMAVERA !!!
Il parco civico è intitolato alla famiglia udinese che nel 1859 fondò la “Fabbrica di
birra e ghiaccio moretti” e costruì poi, nel 1919, nello spazio adiacente, un grande
stadio polisportivo mettendolo a disposizione della città.
Lo stadio rimase in uso fino al 1976 e venne definitivamente demolito nel 1998
trasformandone l’area nel più grande parco urbano della città.

The civic park is named after the Udinese family who in 1859 founded the “Fabbrica di
moretti beer and ice” and then built, in 1919, in the adjacent space, a large
sports stadium making it available to the city.
The stadium remained in use until 1976 and was finally demolished in 1998
transforming the area into the largest urban park in the city.
