IL FUNGO E' UNA RUSSULA TERENOPUS
Le russule costituiscono una sterminata categoria di funghi largamente diffusi e quindi facilmente visibili anche dai cercatori “alle prime armi”. Ma molte specie sono generalmente immangiabili a causa del sapore più o meno acre dei loro tessuti.
Nel dubbio si può tranquillamente assaggiare un piccolo frammento di tessuto mettendolo sulla punta della lingua. Questo test permette di scartare le russule dal sapore pepato che, anche se non velenose, sono certamente immangiabili.
Il test dell’assaggio, anche se empirico, può essere facilmente effettuato, senza correre nessun rischio di tipo tossicologico.

The russulae constitute an immense category of widespread fungi and therefore easily visible even by "novice" hunters. But many species are generally inedible due to the more or less acrid taste of their fabrics.
When in doubt, you can safely taste a small piece of tissue by placing it on the tip of the tongue. This test allows you to discard peppery-tasting russulae which, although not poisonous, are certainly inedible.
The taste test, even if empirical, can be easily carried out, without running any toxicological risk.
