I TULIPANI SONO FUORI STAGIONE MA SONO SEMPRE BELLI
Considerato simbolo di rinascita e bellezza, il tulipano ci rallegra per il colore vivace dei suoi fiori che, al termine dell'inverno, iniziano a emergere tra molti prati di parchi e giardini.
Tulipa, conosciuto col nome tulipano, è un genere di bulbose che comprende circa 150 specie. E’ composto da un bulbo (o patata) sotterraneo perenne, che genera uno stelo dal portamento eretto la cui altezza varia da 10 a 50 cm., con foglie a forma lanceolata (3 o 5), di un verde azzurro e dall’aspetto carnoso. I fiori, semplici o doppi, sono composti da 6 tepali, la loro forma è a coppa o a campana. Tra le molte varietà il Darwin è il più pregiato per la produzione del fiore reciso, ”Queen of the night” o tulipano nero ha una colorazione unica quasi nera, “Parrot” ha una forma merlata e stravagante. I tulipani sono semplici da coltivare, anche in vaso, con poca fatica vi daranno soddisfazioni enormi. Il periodo ideale per piantare i bulbi è l’autunno, da ottobre a dicembre, dopo l’attesa invernale la sorpresa sarà fantastica!
