PINZANO AL TAGLIAMENTO. LA VEDETTA
NIENTE DI NUOVO SUL FRONTE ORIENTALE
A Pinzano al Tagliamento, nelle rovine dell'antico castello che sovrasta il paese, pascolano moltissime capre dell'azienda agricola "Capramica" specializzata nella produzione di formaggio di capra e prodotti caprini in Friuli Venezia Giulia.
In queste zone del Friuli, da Cornino a Pinzano si sono svolte battaglie decisive durante la Grande Guerra.
La battaglia di Ragogna fu uno scontro verificatosi nella prima guerra mondiale tra il Regio Esercito italiano da una parte e l'Imperial regio Esercito austro-ungarico e il Deutsches Heer dall'altra in seguito alla battaglia di Caporetto.
L'episodio rappresenta l'ultimo atto di difesa del Tagliamento da parte degli italiani che, sebbene senza riuscire nel loro scopo, rallentarono di qualche giorno l'offensiva nemica, dando così tempo ad altri reparti di ritirarsi verso il fiume Piave.

In Pinzano al Tagliamento, in the ruins of the ancient castle overlooking the town, many goats graze by the "Capramica" farm specialized in the production of goat cheese and goat products in Friuli Venezia Giulia.
In these areas of Friuli, from Cornino to Pinzano decisive battles took place during the Great War.
The battle of Ragogna was a clash that occurred in the First World War between the Italian Royal Army on one side and the Austro-Hungarian Imperial Royal Army and the Deutsches Heer on the other following the Battle of Caporetto.
The episode represents the last act of defense of the Tagliamento by the Italians who, although without succeeding in their purpose, slowed down the enemy offensive by a few days, thus giving time to other departments to retreat towards the Piave river.
