Il poeta Gabriele d’Annunzio definì Asiago “la più piccola e più luminosa città d’Italia”, coniando uno slogan che sembra scritto oggi. Asiago è il centro principale dell’Altopiano più vasto d’Italia, una vasta conca verde nel cuore della montagna veneta circondata da cime che arrivano a 2.350 metri d’altezza, che ospita anche gli altri 7 Comuni del comprensorio: Conco, Enego, Foza, Gallio, Lusiana, Roana e Rotzo. Il centro della città di Asiago si trova ad un’altitudine di 1001 m sul livello del mare.Completamente ricostruito dopo la Prima Guerra Mondiale, colpisce per la bellezza architettonica e l’ampiezza delle strade e delle piazze, tratti caratteristici rispetto ad altri paesi di montagna. Un gioiello in mezzo al verde, da scoprire e da vivere.
